What Does it Mean to Be a Student Trustee?

The Issaquah Schools Foundation works with Student Trustees their 11th and 12th grade years to represent the student voice on the Issaquah Schools Foundation Board.

Benefits of being a Student Trustee:

  • Use your voice to represent your high school directly to the Foundation Board Trustees, ISD Superintendent and ISD School Board President
  • Enhance your resume with this distinguished role
  • Volunteer hours can go to the Presidential Volunteer Service Award
  • Volunteer hours meet community service requirements
  • Increase your understanding how a non-profit business works
  • Network with community leaders
  • Enjoy a new experience and challenge during your educational journey!

Your student voice is vital to the work that we do! Together, we will work to accomplish the mission and operating objectives of the organization: The Issaquah Schools Foundation drives resources district-wide to help students reach the promise of their potential.

We need you to raise awareness among high school peers about the work of the Foundation, and to continue to be a connection between the Foundation and the graduating class after high school.
