The Tools they Need to Succeed

 

Impact Scholarship Applications due Feb 15th

The Issaquah Schools Foundation is once again offering scholarships to help juniors and seniors in the Issaquah School District continue their educational journeys. The Impact Scholarship will be awarded to students who submit essays that describe how Foundation-funded programs have enriched their education.

Teacher Grants Funded

Each year the Foundation awards Classroom Enrichment Grants to enhance the learning environment in individual classrooms, libraries, computer labs, resource centers and schools.  Kateri Brow Grants fund programs responding to a compelling need that reflects innovation in education.

 

We are pleased to announce that 8 Classroom Erichment Grants were funded for 2019, benefitting Endeavour, Apollo, Grand Ridge, Creekside, Cougar Ridge and Cascade Ridge Elementary schools, as well as Maywood Middle School and Gibson Ek.  To learn more about the grants visit our Classroom Enrichment Grants 2019 Page.

Named for a past superintendent of the Issaquah School District, Kateri Brow Grants are awarded to encourage continuous improvement in education within the Issaquah School District. Kateri Brow Big Idea Grants are awarded for programs that reflect vision and innovation in education. 

We are pleased to announce that 3 Kateri Brow Big Idea Grants were funded at Challenger Elementary, Endeavour Elementary and Echo Glen.

Program Showcase: January 29th
  

 

This showcase is a great opportunity to hear how the Issaquah Schools Foundation supports students in our district.  Come and learn about programs and grants the Foundation has funded.

ParentWiser Presents: February 4th

Teen Vaping - an epidemic sweeping the nation! Explore the impact of vaping and juuling on our young people, and what parents need to know. 

ParentWiser and Influence the Choice partner to bring you TEEN VAPING presented by Jerry Blackburn of Friends of Youth, Feb 4th, 7pm at Issaquah High School.

Support from the Community

5th Grader has Bake Sale for the Issaquah Schools Foundation

Saanvi, a fifth grade student at Sunny Hills Elementary, wanted to help.  She made cookies and had a bake sale benefitting the Issaquah Schools Foundation.  

It's because of students like these and YOUR donations, the Foundation can support our community.  Thank you, Saanvi, we admire your hard work and kind heart!

 

Dining for Kids: February 6th

Enjoy a great meal for a great cause!  The Issaquah Schools Foundation invites you to Dining for Kids to raise fund for our Feeding Student Success program, which provides food aid in schools.

 

Join us anytime on Wednesday, February 6th at Tanoor in Sammamish. Tanoor will generously donate a portion of your bill to the Foundation.
