Highly Capable support at the elementary level provides materials and teacher training programs essential to challenging this unique group of students. The Foundation will also assist middle and high school highly capable programs as needs arise.

The highly capable program supports close to 900 students and the grant is applied to a variety of needs, including classroom resources and equipment purchases. For example, the grant was used to purchase robotics kits, which students will continue to use year after year. The kits generated hands-on time for students to put coding, problem solving and teamwork together.
