IEP (Individualized Education Plan) Meeting Information Night 

Families and guardians with children in the Special Education program in Issaquah School District are invited to attend an information workshop on IEP meetings. 

This is a general information session for families with students in ECE to 12th grade with an IEP.  It is an overview of the parent’s role and participation at IEP meetings.  Specific questions regarding your child’s IEP should be addressed to the IEP team. 

Topics in this session include 

• IEP team - who is part of the team and what is their role? 
• What is the parent/guardian role in the IEP team meeting? 
• Tips and suggestions for “Parent Input” and participation 
• Information about parts of the IEP document and process. 
• Please register for the English session here. There will also be Chinese and Spanish sessions.
