Swati is extremely passionate about education and the impact that the right kind of education can have in building every kid’s personality and ultimately their future. She firmly believes that there is no better investment and no better gift that we can provide to our kids and ultimately uplift our communities than giving them the right means to education that allows them to flourish into confident, happy and responsible adults. Swati hails from India but has lived in Seattle for over 13 years now. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Management with an MBA in Finance and Human Resources and has worked in various global roles in Human Resources, Leadership development and Organizational Development at Companies like AMAZON, BOSCH and the University of Washington. Swati, her husband (who is also a fellow Trustee of ISF) and her 2 children live in Sammamish. Swati has been a committed volunteer at both her children’s schools over last 6 years and has been part of their PTSA Boards for the last few years. During this time, she realized that while our schools are part of one of the best School districts, there is so much more that could be done with more funding and contribution from parents, volunteers and community members at large. Swati was introduced to ISF and its vision at a NEM luncheon and was so moved by the stories shared by the student speakers that she felt morally compelled to start volunteering at the foundation. She is passionate about contributing to the ISF vision and aspires to work towards providing more opportunities, programs and winds to each and every child in the Issaquah School district.
