Since 1987 the Issaquah Schools Foundation has existed to serve and support the students of the Issaquah School District. Thanks to the generosity of individuals and businesses within our community, we have raised over $30 million towards that mission. Alongside school PTSAs, we work every day to give Issaquah School District students the best possible educational experience. We’re proud to provide funding to every single school in the Issaquah School District, helping to close critical funding gaps and giving students from preschool through graduation access to opportunities to thrive.

In a perfect world, organizations like ours wouldn’t be needed. Unfortunately, state and federal dollars fund only the basics of public school education in Washington and the Issaquah School District falls in the lowest 1/3 of per pupil funding in our state. For the rest, our district relies on the community to pass Bonds and Levies, which doesn’t always happen. That leaves a lot of opportunity out of reach for our students.
Organizations like PTSAs, ASB groups, and Boosters allow parents to invest directly in their student’s school, while investing in the Issaquah Schools Foundation is the only way to invest in EVERY school in our district. The more our community comes together to give to the Foundation, the more doors we can open for students at every level and at every school.
