“I am so honored to have been selected as a recipient of the ISF grant and deeply grateful for your support.” – Zoe Jiang, Skyline Teacher

Education must adapt quickly to a rapidly changing world. Since the beginning, the Issaquah Schools Foundation has prioritized listening to educators, directing donor funds to support their efforts to bring innovative approaches to classrooms, enhancing engagement, fostering equity, personalizing learning experiences, and making education more effective and oftentimes more fun for students. An investment in innovation is an investment in long-term student benefits including improved outcomes and better preparation for future careers.

2026/2027 School Year Grants

Applications for the 2026/2027 school year are now closed.

Classroom Enrichment Grants

These grants, awarded at up to $5000 each, allow educators to test new ideas on a smaller scale, whether in one classroom, across one grade-level, or in one school.

Kateri Brow Grants

Awarded at $5001 to $15,000 each, these grants address compelling need for broader education innovation.

In Need of Grant Funding?

Did you miss the window for grant applications this year? You have two potential avenues to funding:

  1. PTSA Grant funding: Your school PTSA may have funding set aside for teacher and classroom grants.
  2. Donors Choose: Issaquah School District administration has approved the use of the Donors Choose platform for ISD teachers and staff to pursue outside funding for classroom needs. Grant requests that come directly from teachers and staff (vs Principals or school administration) and those requesting <$1,000 tend to have a higher success rate. You can learn more about these grant opportunities and start your own grant project HERE.
