Hosted on the paved East Lake Sammamish Trail along the East side of Lake Sammamish, this professionally chip-timed 5K route is perfect for taking in the colors and spirit of fall! Set a new training goal for yourself, beat the weekend sugar rush, or simply embrace the festive season with friends outdoors while raising funds for local students. Proceeds from the Monster Mash 5K help provide programs and resources for local students in the areas of Academic Support & Enrichment, Behavioral & Mental Health, Basic Student Needs, Teacher Grants, Dedicated Fine Arts, and Cultural Bridges.

Warm up lakeside before blasting off from the back row of the parking lot onto the fast, flat, paved East Lake Sammamish Trail. (See route preview) Phased start waves are offered to welcome participants at all activity levels, whether you are an elite runner looking to PR, a fully costumed casual walker, or somewhere in between. Free onsite parking is available near the Start/Finish line with a valid WA State Parks Discover Pass with free overflow parking about .75 mile away. All participants arriving in festive seasonal wear will be entered into a raffle for gift cards to local restaurants and stores, so get creative and dress to impress!
