  1. Do I have to be a donor to attend?
    • No, you do not have to be a donor or supporter of the Issaquah Schools Foundation to attend. These events are open to everyone in our community interested in learning more about how students are served in our schools.
  2. Will I be asked to donate?
    • No, this is not a fundraising event. You do not have to be a donor and there will be no ask made at the event. It is simply an opportunity for you to learn more about how the Foundation, thanks to donors, is able to help support students and create better educational outcomes.
  3. Do I need to have children in the district to attend?
    • No. Everyone within the ISD community has a stake in the success of our students and our schools.
  4. What if I have to come late or can’t stay for the whole event?
    • That’s no problem. This is a very informal event so you can come in and leave as is convenient for you. The speakers will begin at approximately 6:15 and speak for around 30 min, at which time the floor will be opened to questions.
  5. Will there be an opportunity to ask questions?
    • Yes, you will have an opportunity to ask questions of the presenters. You’ll also have time before the speakers begin and after they finish to ask questions of ISF staff and trustees in attendance, as well as district staff.
