July 2017 - Spotlight on Success

Making an IMPACT on our Students!

Have a safe and happy 4th of July Holiday!

The Foundation will be marching and passing out candy in the Issaquah 4^th of July parade again this year and we NEED YOU to join us! Kids, parents, grandparents, neighbors and even doggies are invited.

Interested in joining us, meet at 10:30am on Rainier Blvd North (angled street off Front St.), bring a bucket or bag to fill with candy and wear your best red, white and blue festive attire!

Excited to see your smiling face there marching with us!

Dining for Kids at Ohana

Join us on Wed., July 5th for Dining for Kids and enjoy an authentic menu of Hawaiian and Japanese foods!

All day at the Issaquah location of Ohana, a portion of your meal purchase will benefit the Issaquah Schools Foundation. You'll support the Healthy Youth Initiative, Robotics Clubs and more than 30 other programs impacting every student in every school in our district.

After July, Dining for Kids is taking a break for the summer months of August and September. But don't forget to mark your calendar for the first Wednesday of every month starting again in October, when restaurants throughout the Issaquah community donate a portion of their proceeds to the Foundation. Dining for Kids events take place ALL DAY at participating restaurants.

Tools4School Registration OPEN NOW and Donations needed!

Tools4School will help as many as 1000 students get ready for the new school year by providing them with new backpacks and school supplies at the annual Tools4School event on Saturday August

we need your support! Making a donation is easy!

Every August you need to complete the "Online Verification Process" for your K-12 student(s). We can help you complete this process, so the district knows your student(s) will be attending school. School Advisors will be available to answer questions about: classes, testing, bus information, lunch and Family Access.

Spanish and Mandarin Interpreters will be available.

If you need interpretation in another language, please contact Rosann Rankin at rankinr@issaquah.wednet.edu by August 1st. Free Childcare and Snacks!
