Laura’s connection to ISF has grown as her three children have moved through elementary school at Challenger and Grand Ridge. Through volunteering in the school and on the Board of Directors for the Grand Ridge PTSA, she saw firsthand how ISF and the PTSA helped support enrichment and enhanced students’ elementary experience. A desire to ensure there are support and growth opportunities for all Issaquah students led her to became involved with ISF’s teacher grant program in 2019 and in 2021 she joined the Board of Trustees.
Laura and her husband, Mike, moved to the Seattle-area in 2008 after finishing their MBAs at the University of Michigan. They’ve lived in the Issaquah Highlands for over 10 years and their family can be found cheering on Michigan football and basketball teams or walking their dog around parks in the Highlands.
Laura serves on the Programs Oversight Committee.
