Lisa (re) joined the Issaquah Schools Foundation in 2023 as Operations manager. Lisa manages all of the ‘behind the scenes’ activities that keep the Foundation running, including day to day finance, office administration, HR, plus programs, events, and fundraising support.
Before returning to the Schools Foundation, Lisa was the Volunteer Manager at the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank, and helped establish the Blackthorn Haven Project (a new program providing services for youth experiencing housing challenges) at The Garage, a teen cafe. In her first tenure at the Foundation, Lisa was a Program Manager for the the VOICE mentor program.
Lisa’s roots run deep in the community. She is a co-convener and facilitator for the Issaquah-Sammamish Nourishing Network, a longtime VOICE mentor, and internship mentor for Gibson Ek High School. She is also a proud member of the Issaquah Kiwanis club where she gets involved with volunteer organization for events, plus serving at the Issaquah Meals Program.
Lisa’s children both graduated from the Issaquah School District. She lives with her husband, dog, and two cats on Squak Mountain. In her free time, she likes to garden, kayak, and travel.
