The Issaquah Schools Foundation has a long history of supporting our district PTSAs in providing opportunities for the development of innovative thinking through arts experiences, lessons, and training. We offer free elementary art lesson plans aligned with state visual arts learning standards and available to all volunteer art docents, parents, and teachers.
Free Art Lesson Plans
These lesson plans are designed around a scaffold of the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. The curriculum has been tested by art docents in the classroom, reviewed by teachers, and aligned to the Washington State Visual Arts Learning Standards.
