“Thank you for donating the Jump Rope and Heggerty decodable readers. My students LOVE the books and I’m delighted to see their phonics skills transfer to authentic reading. Today we read a book about Frank, a city dog who loves to eat trash! We all laughed when Frank came this close to eating a real cheese pizza next to a dumpster. One of my students remarked “these books are actually funny!”

“JSA has been the single most integral experience of my high school career. The organization has inspired me to go out of my comfort zone, learning public speaking skills, engaging in my community, fighting political apathy, and meeting some of my closest friends in the process.”
– Junior States of America participant, Abigail Elperin
“ISF funding was used for registration fees and supply costs. This funding was crucial in ensuring our team had the resources needed to perform at the highest levels and gain invaluable experiences through these competitions.“
– Kevin Krein, Maywood Middle School Robotics
“Our school counselors would not be able to participate in Forefront Suicide Prevention training if it weren’t for the funding from ISF.”
– Noah Westerberg, ISD Director of Counseling and Student Well-Being
