Juneteenth - City of Issaquah
Join us on Monday, June 20th 5:00pm for an evening of learning and reflection about the historical and present-day significance of the Juneteenth holiday. The in-person educational community event, will feature Mr. Delbert Richardson, owner/curator of the national award winning American History Traveling Museum - The “Unspoken” Truths. With the use of authentic artifacts, and storytelling, Mr. Richardson will engage the audience in a thought-provoking dialogue on Why Juneteenth is an American Holiday that the entire family and residents of all ages can attend.
Hear personal stories, learn about our history, and plan for an inclusive future where everyone in our community feels welcomed and included.
